CURLING FUNSPIEL EVENT - Saturday and Sunday September 28 and 29

We're excited to welcome you all back for our final season on Monaghan! You may choose to golf or curl or do both! We will host a pub night Friday night which is open to all members and will feature some open ice for members to tune up for the weekend as welll as awards and prizes from the days golf tournament. Saturday will feature curling during the day as well as a glow curling draw, food and social in the evening. 
 
NOTE: Please register for the event you wish to participate in separately (9 hole golf / 18 hole golf / curling funspiel).
 
Funspiel Curling Saturday, September 28 and Sunday the 29th
Guaranteed 3 six end games and playoffs. 
Saturday evening draw will be glow curling social and food. 
$30 fee includes meal ticket at Mayflower.

Friday Night Pub Night
Open to all members. Canteen provided by Honeygrove Barbecue and serving up pub favourites like wings, burgers, fish and chips. Beer garden games set up and ice will be open for member tune up and to get ready for Saturday Sunday funspiel.

Club Information

Founded in 1905, the Mayflower Curling Club is a landmark in Halifax's rich history. In 1912 the ice shed was used as a morgue for victims of the infamous Titanic sinking, and just five years later the club was destroyed in the devastating Halifax explosion. The Mayflower, which houses six sheets of ice for leagues of all levels, is one of the most well-known clubs in Canada. We embrace all levels of curling from beginners to competitive and we hope to see you on the ice soon.
