The following leagues are available at the Mayflower Curling Club:
Monday Day Men's League
Target Curlers: Recreational and Competitive
Recommended Experience: 1+ years of curling experience or equivalent Learn to Curl experience.
An adult men’s league offering both competitive and recreational opportunities for curlers looking to enjoy daytime league play.
League Capacity: Based on 16 teams. Additional team entries may be considered to accommodate membership growth.
Format:
Based on the number of teams registered, the expected format will include round robin play with seeding and playoff rounds. Depending on registration numbers, the league may operate as either a single division or a tiered structure to help create balanced and enjoyable competition for all teams.
If openings occur during the winter session, the league may fill vacancies with interested curlers for the second half of the season.
Draw Time: 9:30 am
Dates: October 2025 – April 2026
Expected to include a minimum of 22 scheduled weeks of play.
Entry Type:
Curlers may register as a full team or individually and be placed on a team (as space allows) based on preferred position and experience level.
Monday Novice Stick Curling League
Target Curlers: Stick Curling Development
Recommended Experience: New to stick curling or curlers looking to learn the stick curling format. Volunteers will be available to assist and provide guidance as needed.
A welcoming and supportive league designed to introduce curlers to the stick curling game in a fun and social environment.
Format:
Round robin play.
Team Criteria:
Teams consist of 2 players and may be made up of any combination of skill level or gender.
Draw Time: Mondays at 1:00 pm
League Capacity: Based on 8 teams, with flexibility to consider additional entries to accommodate membership growth and scheduling requirements.
Dates: October 2025 – April 2026
Expected to include a minimum of 22 scheduled weeks of play.
Entry Type:
Curlers may register as a team or individually and be paired with a partner as space allows.

Tuesday Morning - Women's Day
Target Curlers: Women’s Recreational
Recommended Experience: Completed Learn to Curl or equivalent beginner experience.
A welcoming women’s daytime league focused on social play, meeting other curlers, and enjoying the game in a supportive environment.
Format:
Women’s Day curlers play on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Teams are created from individual entries and are reshuffled approximately every 6 weeks, providing curlers the opportunity to play with different teammates throughout the season.
Draw Time:
9:30 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
League Capacity:
Based on 64 players, with flexibility to consider additional entries to accommodate membership growth and league balance.
Dates: October 2025 – April 2026
Expected to include a minimum of 22 scheduled weeks of play.
Entry Type:
Individual entry only.
Tuesday Stick Curling League
Target Curlers: Recreational Stick Curling
Recommended Experience: Suitable for beginners as well as experienced curlers looking to explore a different format of the game.
A recreational adult league open to everyone. Stick curling is less physically demanding than traditional curling, as rocks are delivered using a stick and sweeping is limited.
Format:
The expected format will include round robin play followed by seeded division play. Games will follow Stick Curling Rules, with six-end games completed within one hour.
Draw Time:
Games are scheduled at 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm on Tuesdays. Based on registration numbers, teams may play at one or both draw times throughout the season.
League Capacity:
Based on 16 teams, with flexibility to consider additional entries to accommodate membership growth and scheduling requirements.
Dates: October 2025 – April 2026
Expected to include a minimum of 22 scheduled weeks of play.
Entry Type:
Curlers may register as a team or individually and be matched with a partner as needed.
Tuesday Junior Super League
Target Curlers: Junior Competitive
Recommended Experience: Suitable for junior teams with previous league and game experience looking to develop competitive skills and gain additional game experience.
A competitive junior league open to male, female, and mixed teams.
Format:
The league will implement a tiered structure based on points accumulated throughout each round. Teams may move “up” or “down” between divisions based on performance. Multiple divisions help create balanced and competitive games while reducing uneven matchups and supporting player development.
A league champion will be declared at the end of the season.
Team Criteria:
Teams may consist of male, female, or mixed players.
Draw Time:
Tuesdays at 6:00 pm.
League Capacity:
Based on 16 teams, with flexibility to consider additional entries based on registration and scheduling availability.
Dates: October 2025 – April 2026

The league consists of separate fall and winter rounds, providing curlers with the opportunity to play with different teammates throughout the season. The goal is to create balanced teams and enjoyable competition for all participants.

A competitive adult league open to everyone and designed for teams looking for a higher level of play and competition.
Format:
The league uses a tiered division structure that groups teams by similar ability and performance. Teams may move up or down between divisions throughout the season based on results, helping to create balanced and competitive games.
Team Criteria:
Teams may consist of any combination of genders.
Draw Time:
Staggered draw schedule with the earliest draw beginning at 6:00 pm.
League Capacity:
Based on 32 teams, with flexibility to consider additional entries to accommodate membership growth and scheduling requirements.

Additional Fee:
A $30 per player prize purse fee applies in addition to membership fees (base membership + league dues).

- Who: Curlers aged 7 & 8 years.
- Time: 10:45-11:30 am on Saturdays.
- Format: They use lighter weight rocks and play on a half-length sheet of ice. The focus is on FUN.
- Equipment:
- Helmets are MANDATORY - please bring your own helmet (bicycle, ski, hockey, etc).
- All other equipment is provided.
- It is suggested that curlers wear warm stretchy clothing and gloves or mittens.
Saturday U12 (11 years and under as of Dec 31/26)
U12 (11 years and under as of Dec 31/26)
- Who: All curlers aged 9-11 years
- Time: 9-10:30 am on Saturdays
- Format: Curlers in this group are developing FUNdamental skills and understanding of the game. We do a land based warm up, on ice instruction, regular game play and mini games each week.
- Equipment:
- Helmet is MANDATORY - please bring your own helmet (bicycle, ski, hockey, etc).
- Slider - You must buy your own slider (to be used with indoor sneakers) or curling shoes for use on the ice. These are available at our Pro Shop.
- Other: Brooms are provided. Wear warm stretchy clothing and gloves/ mittens.
Saturday Rookies (12-18 years as of Dec 31/26)

- Who: NEW Curlers aged 12-18 years

- Format: Learn how to curl! Our instructors focus on the basics to get these new curlers game ready! Balance, Delivery, Sweeping, Rules and Etiquette are all covered during the sessions.

Based on registration numbers, the expected format will include round robin and tiered division play. Competitive and recreational divisions may operate separately depending on registration.
Team Criteria:
2-player teams may consist of any combination of genders.
Draw Time:
Sundays at 4:30 pm.
League Capacity:
Based on 16 teams, with flexibility to consider additional entries to accommodate membership growth and scheduling requirements.

Dedicated Team Practice Slot
Target Curlers: Team Practice
Recommended Experience: Suitable for teams of all experience and competitive levels looking for dedicated weekly practice time.
A scheduled one-hour weekly practice session reserved for the same team throughout the season.
Format:
Teams select a weekly practice time for the season and receive one hour of dedicated ice time each week.
Team Criteria:
No team composition restrictions.
Draw Time:
Expected practice availability is Monday to Wednesday at 4:30 pm. Additional practice times may become available once league registration and scheduling are finalized.
League Capacity:
Based on ice availability and scheduling.
Dates: October 2025 – April 2026
Expected to include a minimum of 22 scheduled weeks of ice time.
Entry Fee:
Same rate as an evening league.
