The following leagues are available at the Mayflower Curling Club:
Monday Day Men's League
Entry Type:
Target Curlers: Recreational and Competitive
An adult men’s league that offers both a competitive and recreational opportunity for those looking to enjoy day league curling.
Format: Based on the total number of fall team entries, the league will consist of either one division of round robin play, or a two-tiered division of competitive and recreational curlers.
For the winter session, if the league experiences individual and/or team vacancies, the league will attempt to fill the draw with interested curlers (male or female), for the second half.
Draw Time: 9:30 AM

Entry Fee: None in addition to membership fees (base membership + league dues).
Entry Type: Curlers may enter as a competitive team, or as an individual and be placed on a team (as space allows) based on curler’s choice of position and skill level.
Monday Novice Stick Curling League
Target Curlers: This is for curlers that are new to stick curling. Volunteers will be availble to assist when needed.
Format: Round Robin
Team Criteria: Teams can be made od 2-players of any skill level or gender.
Draw Times: Mondays 2 PM
Max # of Entries: 16 people (or 8 teams)
Dates: October 2025 to April 2026
Entry Fee:None in addition to membership fees (base membership + league dues).

Monday Night - Recreational League
Target Curlers: This is a recreational adult league open to everyone. The league is suitable for curlers of all skill levels. Any level of curler, from novice to experienced, can enjoy and compete.
Format: This league starts as a round robin in the fall and then implements a tiered structure allowing teams to be grouped by similar ability for the second half.
Team Criteria: Teams can be made up of curlers in any combination of genders.
Draw Times: Staggered draw schedule with earliest draw at 6:00 PM.

Entry Type: Team entry preferred. Individual and partial team entries are accepted and will be placed on teams as space allows. Full year registration only. Includes both fall & winter seasons.
Tuesday Morning - Women's Day
Target Curlers: The Women's Day league accepts players on an individual entry basis. A curler new to the game can easily integrate into league play.
Format: The Women's Day curlers play on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Teams will be made up from individual entries and will change roughly every 6 weeks.
Draw times: 9:30 AM
Dates: October 2025 to April 2026

Tuesday Stick Curling League
Target Curlers: A recreational, adult league that is open to everyone. This league is suitable for participants who have experienced curling, and are looking for an opportunity to expand their curling skills through a different game format as well as beginners. It is less physically demanding than regular curling because the rock is delivered with a stick and there is very limited sweeping.
Format: The league follows Stick Curling Rules with the six-end game being completed in one hour. Two person teams will be formed from the individual entries at registration, and reshuffling of the team members will take place once or twice during the year.
Draw Time: League fee will include two games. Games will take place Tuesdays between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Exact draw times will depend on registration and ice availability.

Tuesday Junior Super League
Jr SUPER LEAGUE - TUESDAYS@ 6:00pm!!!
- Team Entry - This is a competitive junior league suitable for male, female, and mixed teams competing in and developing more experience.
- TUESDAY nights at 6pm
- 16 Team Maximum
- A tiered structure will be implemented based on points accumulated in each round, so some teams may play “up” or “down” a division. Having multiple divisions helps create balanced and competitive games while reducing uneven matchups, providing a better experience and development opportunity for all teams.
- A champion is declared at the end of the season
- Fees for each curler: Base Junior Membership fee + League Dues

Tuesday Night Novice Recreational League
Target Curlers: This is a recreational adult league open to novice curlers (0 to 5 years of experience*). We recommend completing a learn to curl program before joining this league.
Format: This league is intended to help novice curlers gain experience and get more comfortable with league play. It will consist of 6-end games within a 2-hour period. Occasional on and off ice instruction will be offered throughout the season.
Team Criteria: Teams can be made up of curlers in any combination of genders.
Draw Times: Staggered start beginning at 8:00 PM
Max # of Teams: 16
Dates: October 2025 - April 2026
Entry fee: None in addition to membership fees (base membership + league dues).
Entry Type: Team, individual or partial team entries are accepted.
*If you don’t fit the 0 to 5 years of experience, but feel this league is suitable to your skill level, please reach out to the club for consideration.
Wednesday Morning Recreational Curling
Target Curlers: This is a recreational adult league open to everyone and is suitable for curlers of all skill levels.
Format: Individual entry only with teams created based on the curlers' choice of position, skill level, etc. There are two separate rounds, fall and winter, that will allow players the opportunity to curl with other members. The goal is to try to make these teams as balanced (skill level) as possible.
Draw Time: 9:30 AM

Target Curlers: A recreational adult league open to everyone. The league is suitable for curlers of all skill levels. Any level of curler, from novice to experienced, can enjoy and compete.
Format: This league starts as a round robin in the fall and then implements a tiered structure allowing teams to be grouped by similar ability for the second half.
Team Criteria: Teams can be made up of curlers in any combination of genders.

Saturday Little Rocks (7-8 years)
Little Rocks (7-8 years as of Dec 31, 2026)
- Who: Curlers aged 7 & 8 years.
- Time: 10:45-11:30 am on Saturdays.
- Format: They use lighter weight rocks and play on a half-length sheet of ice. The focus is on FUN.
- Equipment:
- Helmets are MANDATORY - please bring your own helmet (bicycle, ski, hockey, etc).
- All other equipment is provided.
- It is suggested that curlers wear warm stretchy clothing and gloves or mittens.
Saturday U12 (11 years and under as of Dec 31/26)
U12 (11 years and under as of Dec 31/26)
- Who: All curlers aged 9-11 years
- Time: 9-10:30 am on Saturdays
- Format: Curlers in this group are developing FUNdamental skills and understanding of the game. We do a land based warm up, on ice instruction, regular game play and mini games each week.
- Equipment:
- Helmet is MANDATORY - please bring your own helmet (bicycle, ski, hockey, etc).
- Slider - You must buy your own slider (to be used with indoor sneakers) or curling shoes for use on the ice. These are available at our Pro Shop.
- Other: Brooms are provided. Wear warm stretchy clothing and gloves/ mittens.
Saturday Rookies (12-18 years as of Dec 31/26)
Rookies (New Curlers 12-18 years as of Dec 31/26)
- Who: NEW Curlers aged 12-18 years
- Time: 10:30am - 12:00pm on Saturdays
- Format: Learn how to curl! Our instructors focus on the basics to get these new curlers game ready! Balance, Delivery, Sweeping, Rules and Etiquette are all covered during the sessions.
- Equipment:
- Helmet is MANDATORY - please bring your own helmet (bicycle, ski, hockey, etc).
- Slider - You must buy your own slider (to be used with indoor sneakers) or curling shoes for use on the ice. These are available at our Pro Shop.
- Other: Brooms are provided. Wear warm stretchy clothing and gloves/ mittens.
Saturday U15-U18
U15/U18 Curling
- Who: Experienced 12-18 year old curlers (age as of Dec 31/2026)
- Time: 12:30-2:30 pm on Saturdays
- Format: Game play with some some strategy / instruction as required
- Equipment:
- Slider - You must bring your own slider or curling shoes for use on the ice. Sliders are available for purchase at our ProShop.
- Other: Brooms are provided. Wear warm stretchy clothing and bring gloves or mittens.
Saturday Novice Development League
Target Curlers: This is a league for curlers who are novice or interested in fun curling only.
Format: Round robin style play will start the season with the possibility of tiered play later in the season. Additional teams may be added for Winter Session.
Team Criteria: Teams can be made of players of any gender.
Draw Times: 3:30 PM

Sunday Night Recreational League
Target Curlers: A recreational adult league open to everyone. The league is suitable for novice to experienced club curlers.
Format: This league starts as a round robin in the fall and then implements a tiered structure allowing teams to be grouped by similar ability for the second half.
Team Criteria: Teams can be made up of curlers in any combination of genders.
Draw Times: 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM

Sunday Night Doubles
Sunday Doubles - Half n Half
Target Curlers: This league is split into two halves: the first half of the season is for intermediate and competitive curlers. The second half will start with an instructional session and is open to all levels. A team may sign up for the first half only, the second half only or the whole thing!
Format: Based on registration round robin and tiered play are planned.
Team Criteria: 2-player teams can be made up of curlers in any combination of genders.
Draw Times: Sundays 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM
Max # of Entries: 16 teams
Dates: Fall Session October 2025 to Mid January 2026, Winter Session Mid-January to April 2026.
Entry Fee: None in addition to membership fees (base membership + league dues).
Entry Type: Team entry
Dedicated Team Practice Slot
Registration for this league will be completed through the office. Times are available throughout the week.
Team Practice - This is a scheduled 1 hour practice session on groomed ice. A team would pick a time and pay for this slot for the season. It is charged out at the same rate as an evening league. Base membership plus league with 4 players.
Target Curlers: Any team looking for a weekly scheduled practice time
Format: 1 hour of ice time
Team Criteria: no restrictions
Draw Times: Various dates and times are available in our schedule, with the largest bank of time on Sunday at 9am. Contact our Manager for more dates/time.
