Join us for a whirlwind of excitement as we bid farewell to another fantastic curling season in style! Get ready to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of our carnival-themed closing bonspiel, where the ice will be hot, the music will be lively, and the fun will be endless.

Ross, our master ice maker, will unveil his legendary "Ice Maker's Revenge" – a devious twist to test even the most seasoned curlers. Will you conquer the icy obstacles and emerge victorious, or will you succumb to the frosty fury of Ross's creation?

But the thrills don't stop there! Get your groove on Saturday night with electrifying live music courtesy of The Roadhawks! Dance the night away to their infectious beats and celebrate the camaraderie of the curling community in true carnival spirit.

This bonspiel spans over two days and is open to 24 teams or 96 individuals, ensuring there's plenty of opportunity for everyone to join in the excitement. Sign up as a team with your friends or fellow curlers, or register as an individual and let us match you up with like-minded players. Indicate your teammates in the comment section during registration to ensure you're matched with your curling compatriots. Or sign up as an individual and indicate your experience and position preference, and we'll find the perfect team for you!

But that's not all – be prepared for surprises, games, and other fun activities sprinkled throughout the bonspiel to keep the excitement levels soaring. We'll also have snacks to munch on throughout the weekend to keep you energized on the ice. Don't forget to indicate any dietary restrictions in the comment section during registration so we can accommodate everyone's needs.

All this excitement is available for just $40 entry fee per person, covering both days of curling, the live band, and food. Open to both members and guests! Super Sweeps Opening Bonspiel (September 28/29)

The ice is nearly ready for our final season on Monaghan Drive and we're excited to see you all in less than two weeks. Our Opening Spiel is filling up but we still have room for more members, please sign up here. We have some updates about our Opening Spiel (Swings & Sweeps) and some other exciting opportunities outlined below. 

Golf Portion of Opening Spiel
Unfortunately, we have had to cancel the golf portion (Sept 27) of the Swings & Sweeps event due to low registration. We sincerely appreciate the support of those who showed interest and have processed refunds. Please contact Karen if you have any questions about your refund. 

UPDATED OPENING WEEKEND SCHEDULE:

Friday Evening:

Member Tune Up and Social  (OPEN TO ALL MEMBERS) 
Beginning at 6PM, we're inviting both our Opening Spiel participants and all regular members to come out for some open ice tune up on Friday, September 27th. We plan to have the bar and canteen open if possible, as well as pub games. This is a good chance to get your muscles back in order for curling season and to get to know your opening spiel team. 

Saturday:

Opening Spiel Day 1 
Two regular draws of curling for Opening Spiel participants. Honey Grove to open canteen and serve pub favourites. Your $30 registration includes a meal ticket to the canteen. Draw times and teams will be sent out next week. 

Glow Curling
Our third draw of the day will be set up as glow curling. Wear your best and brightest outfits. The ice shed will be set up for some amazing ultraviolet curling! 

Pub Night Social (OPEN TO ALL MEMBERS)
Come enjoy some pub food, good music, classic pub games, and watch some exciting glow curling. Pub menu includes Fish & Chips, Bonspiel Burger, and Wings. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions in the form below.

GLOW CURLING - SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19 - 7 PM

We're excited for our first glow curling Saturday night on October 19. After a succesfull first attempt at our opening bonspiel we're looking forward to making some adjustments - the rocks will be way brighter with glowing handles and there will be some regular overhead lighting to increase the visibility. 

This event is open to Mayflower members and friends. Please register as an individual and send us a message if you'd like to curl as a group as we realized that our group payment isn't working properly for this event. We'd like newer curlers to have experience buddies on the ice. 

We are going to play at 7 PM and will play at least 6 ends. Cost is $10 per person. 

The bar will be open and we will have a great playlist of tunes playing on the ice and in the lounge. Enjoy a fun atmosphere before, during, and after your game.

The Dave Jones Cashspiel will once again host men's and women's team form all over the maritimes and beyond. 

Men's Team Entry Fee: $1000

Women's Team Entry Fee: $650

24 teams in the total event, additional teams may be added to a division if one event does not fill. The event is 12 Men's teams and 12 Women's teams.

The Women's Event is Full!  Please continue to be placed on waiting list.
