GLOW CURLING - SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19 - 7 PM
We're excited for our first glow curling Saturday night on October 19. After a succesfull first attempt at our opening bonspiel we're looking forward to making some adjustments - the rocks will be way brighter with glowing handles and there will be some regular overhead lighting to increase the visibility.
This event is open to Mayflower members and friends. Please register as an individual and send us a message if you'd like to curl as a group as we realized that our group payment isn't working properly for this event. We'd like newer curlers to have experience buddies on the ice.
We are going to play at 7 PM and will play at least 6 ends. Cost is $10 per person.
The bar will be open and we will have a great playlist of tunes playing on the ice and in the lounge. Enjoy a fun atmosphere before, during, and after your game.

Get ready for a night of fun, music, and friendly competition! Join us on Febuary 28th for our Glow Curling & Karaoke Night at the Mayflower Curling Club. Here's what to expect:
Glow Curling:

Limited to 128 participants, with a waitlist in case we have enough folks for a second draw.

Curling begins at 7:00 PM.

Register individually, but if you have preferred teammates, leave a note when you sign up.
Karaoke:

Free and open to all members and their friends.

Sing your heart out and cheer for your fellow club members!
Costume Contest:

Prizes for the best costumes on the ice and at the mic. Get creative and dress to impress!

Club Information
Founded in 1905, the Mayflower Curling Club is a landmark in Halifax's rich history. In 1912 the ice shed was used as a morgue for victims of the infamous Titanic sinking, and just five years later the club was destroyed in the devastating Halifax explosion. The Mayflower, which houses six sheets of ice for leagues of all levels, is one of the most well-known clubs in Canada. We embrace all levels of curling from beginners to competitive and we hope to see you on the ice soon.
