The 3rd Annual Ice Makers Revenge Closing Funspiel is back and bigger than ever!
Come join us for one last weekend on the ice for the 2025-2026 curling season as our ice makers will once again be finding different ways to challenge and frustrate us through a variety of obstacles and other absurdities on each sheet. This year they will have two more additional canvases to throw us all for a loop!
The event is open to 32 teams, or 128 individuals. It will be individual sign up and participants may identify their team mates in the comment section of the registration page, or you may sign up as an individual and we will find a team to place you with.
Each team will play six 4 end games over the weekend, with three games each day. The spiel is open to any level of curler.
We expect the first draw to start at noon on Saturday April 18th and have everything wrapped up by 6:30 PM on Sunday April 19th. Stay tuned for more details!
The price is $30+tax/person. Open to ages 12+ and all skill levels.

Founded in 1905, the Mayflower Curling Club is a landmark in Halifax's rich history. In 1912 the ice shed was used as a morgue for victims of the infamous Titanic sinking, and just five years later the club was destroyed in the devastating Halifax explosion. The Mayflower, which houses eight sheets of ice for leagues of all levels, is one of the most well-known clubs in Canada. We embrace all levels of curling from beginners to competitive and we hope to see you on the ice soon.
