Dixie Curling Centre does not generally refund membership fees. However, there may be some exceptions to that standard practice.
If an individual member's circumstances change, the Board Executive MAY consider refunding all or a portion of membership fees based on the member's specific circumstances. These circumstances may include but not be limited to, previously unknown medical issues that arise and that prevent the member from participating in curling for a substantial portion of the season. Circumstances will be assessed on an individual basis.
In the case of a Choose your own rink (CYOR) player, prior to providing the refund to the player for the CYOR league fees and the representative portion of the base fee, the team must submit the name of the new team member and their appropriate registration including registration fee, if applicable, must be completed.
The decision of whether or not to pay refunds in each particular circumstance will be at the sole discretion of the Board Executive. Application for membership refund must be submitted in writing to the Dixie Curling Centre General Manager (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). An administration fee of $100.00 will be deducted from any agreed upon refund to cover handling and processing fees. The final date to submit written refund requests is February 15 of that current curling season.
